A wonderful character. I like how he's taking a second to look at us as he goes about his way. Lots of nice details. I am confused by the legs. I'm not certain which is which. One appears to be directly in front of the other. Shadow could use a bit of adjustment on the back leg where it comes forward.

awesome work love the rich textures everywhere. but as someone mentioned the legs are hard to read you don't know which leg is which. and it looks like he's wearing two left side shoes. some shadows and better placement of the feet could make it better. awesome work nonetheless

as you already mentioned, a background would have given justice you that very well done character. Even though it's a character design, the lack of BG makes him less interesting. Lighting and shading look to me perfect. I even wondered if it was a 3d model since it's so perfect. Anatomy seems flawless, and I like that Character a lot. Good job !
